Stop sign etiquette

When one approaches a four way stop intersection, one must adhere to a certain etiquette. When two motorists reach the intersection at the same time, whoever motions first "go ahead" indicates the recipient of said 'go ahead' should then.............go ahead. Of course, initially, oftentimes, there is no sign at all, but we both start going at the same time. Now, a sign is definately necessary. So, revert back to rule 1. Whoever motions go ahead, the other guy goes. Simple enough. But what if the other 'guy' is a 'girl'? 99 times out of 100, if you both start going at the same time and you have to do the "go ahead" thing, SHE will veto your sign and tell you to go ahead. WHY IS THAT? Is it the bitch gene that makes them do that? They must put da man down? I think that it's the generous nature of woman, most of the time, that produces this effect. However, it pisses me off. If I give the goahead, just go, don't waste my time with a "countergoahead". You just cost us two seconds and a lot of confusion in this life that is too short as it is.
